Piel de Puma starts with observation: recognizing individuals, reading behavior, understanding habitats and allowing each encounter to unfold at its own pace.

Piel de Puma also comes from drawing, photographing and observing. This section brings together part of the visual work inspired by Patagonia's wildlife and landscapes.

View Puma TrackingI am Max, a tourism guide focused mainly on flora and fauna, as well as a photographer and illustrator. Much of my work happens in the field, travelling through Patagonia and observing the wildlife around Torres del Paine. Part of that fieldwork takes place at Leona Amarga, an estancia dedicated to conservation.
Piel de Puma comes from there: exploring, observing and creating from the land. It also comes from the idea of seeing this landscape from another perspective — of trying, for a moment, to step into the skin of a puma and understand how it moves, observes and inhabits Patagonia. The brand seeks to let you carry a part of that experience with you, whether through an image, an illustration or a piece born from the same landscape.
